American Idol

Harry Connick, Jr., David Cook and will.i.am Perform on American Idol 2013 (VIDEOS)

One thing's for sure about American Idol results nights the powers that be always give us some exciting live performances to offset the depressing reality of dashing someone’s Idol dreams. Tonight is no exception and, in fact, it might be one of the best shows for live performances this season.

On top of finding out which stellar singer from the Top Four will be going home, we’ll be treated to a performance by season seven winner David Cook. He’ll return to his roots to sing “Laying Me Low,” his latest single.

Mentor extraordinaire Harry Connick, Jr., is also on tap and is set to perform “Every Man Should Know,” which is the title track of his latest tour and album.

The latest name to be thrown into the mix is the highly popular will.i.am, although what he’ll be performing is a big mystery. Don’t quote us on this, but we’ve heard that he may actually be performing alongside Harry. Now that would be amazing!

As we mentioned in an earlier article, we couldn’t help but notice that this dynamic trio David, Harry, and will.i.am would make a killer American Idol judging panel. Things that make you go hmmm...

Check back here later tonight and we'll bring you the performance videos for all the guest stars as soon as we can!
