Once Upon a Time Season 2 Finale: What Is Hook and Bae’s Relationship? (PHOTO)
Based on a new spoiler photo, it looks like the speculation that Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Bae's (Michael Raymond-James) relationship started out friendly might turn out to be right on the Once Upon a TimeSeason 2 finale.
We know Bae and Neal's history is supposed to be explored in this week's Season 2, Episode 21: "Second Star to the Right," and based on the photo to the right, which is from the May 6 issue of TV Guide (via @KecksExclusives), it looks like they got off to a decent start.
In the photo a young Bae — who, based on the episode preview, does indeed head to Neverland thanks to his new friend Wendy Darling — is on Hook's ship. According to TV Guide, Hook is teaching teenage Baelfire "how to steer his ship" while "talking about mermaids." Hmm, mermaids? Could Ariel be coming soon? "Neverland is known for fairies and mermaids, co-creator Edward Kitsis hinted to the magazine. "And that will pay off."
Either way, Bae looks a little confused, or perhaps distressed, but Hook seems to be welcoming him with a smile. Bae also appears to be holding a drawing of a person. To our eyes, it looks like a dark-haired woman. Maybe he's looking for Milah? Or perhaps it's a character from the Peter Pan tale, like Tiger Lily. Or hey, maybe it's even Ariel!
Whatever's going on, it definitely looks like Bae and Hook aren't enemies — yet. But how soon will that change? Share your theories in the comments below.
