Chris Brown’s Plane Fills With Smoke, Forced Into Emergency Landing
It's good to look smokin' hot in a private jet, but not like this. According to TMZ, Chris Brown boarded a Gulfstream 3 jet in Burbank yesterday and was heading for Teterboro, NJ to attend the Met Gala.
However, about seven or eight minutes into the flight, passengers noticed smoke filling the plane. One source told TMZ, "It was A LOT of smoke ... everywhere." The pilot turned the plane around and did an emergency landing. Everyone was apparently fine.
Undaunted in the name of coast-to-coast fashion, Chris boarded another private jet within an hour of the emergency landing and did make it to Teterboro. He didn't go to the Met Gala event but attended an after-party, and TMZ has a photo of him wandering around in NYC. (He did say he was going to have three birthday parties, including one in NYC, so maybe this is one of them...)
It must be nice to have multiple private jets at your disposal, in case one starts smoking in mid-air. Still, that's pretty scary and it might put us off flying for at least a day. Glad he made it across the country all right!
