June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo Star, Wears a Camo Dress at Her Wedding! (PHOTO)

We were more than a little surprised to see these new photos of Mama June Shannon’s camouflage wedding dress at her backyard wedding to Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s dad Sugar Bear on Sunday. Oh yeah, it was camo. And what’s more, the tulle gown even sported a bright orange sash and petticoat, you know, just in case anyone was hunting nearby. Sugar Bear matched his bride in camo pants and a bright orange tuxedo vest.

Alana and her sisters stepped out in bright pink frilly dresses, and Mama June’s bouquet featured bright orange, pink, and blue hues.

The topping on the cake is People’s report that the couple won’t actually say whether they were officially married or if they just renewed their commitment to each other. It does appear that it probably was a wedding though, as Mama June and Sugar Bear were seen leaving the event on an ATV with a “Just Married” sign and June was sporting a diamond ring on her ring finger.

"The day was very special mostly because my girls were able to take part in it," says June. "I felt like it was important for them to see this moment and celebrate my love for Sugar Bear."

She goes on to say that she was very successful in planning the big to-do on a budget, spending most of the money on the reception/barbeque.

Although we know we can be a bit critical of their taste, we can definitely see that the family had a great time at the wedding bash, making sure to stay “true to their roots” and never forget what brought them all the fame in the first place. Although speaking of that, there was one thing missing from Mama June and Sugar Bear’s big day: Alana’s pageant wig!
