RHOC’s Tamra Barney Apologizes For Her “Offensive” Nickname for Eddie

What's in a nickname?

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney is apologizing for her nickname for fiance Eddie Judge, which will appear in an upcoming episode.

Apparently, Tamra jokingly refers to Eddie as "Inner Beaner" in an episode, even though she has been pleading with Bravo to not air that scene.

"So I hear Bravo is now bleeping my comment 'Inner-beaner' — I begged the producers not to air it," she writes on Facebook.

"It is a running joke between me and Eddie and was said messing around while filming and NOT to be aired," Tamra continues.

Tamra realizes that the nickname which references Eddie's Hispanic heritage might rub some people the wrong way.

"I apologize to anyone that I offended," she continues. "I love Eddie so much and yes, he is Hispanic, and I wouldn't have it any other way."

"But now i am pissed that I was TOLD how funny it was by production and they MUST air it when I knew it wasn't right and would be offensive to some," Tamra says.

Tamra maintains that Eddie was not bothered by the nickname.

"Yes, it's a joke between me and my Latin love and that will never change," she adds. "Not meant for anyone else."

So do you find Tamra's nickname to be inappropriate? Or do you think that it's okay as long as Eddie is fine with it?
