The Little Couple Stars Adopt Second Baby with Dwarfism
Here's some big news!
The Little Couple stars Bill Klein and Dr. Jennifer Arnold have adopted a second child with dwarfism, according to People.
The TLC stars previously adopted Will from China, and now they are in the process of adopting 19-month-old Zoey from India.
Zoey has a form of dwarfism, as do her new parents and big brother, Will.
"We're so delighted that Zoey will be joining our family and that William will have a little sister coming home very soon," the couple says in a statement.
"We've dealt with prejudice and many challenges," Jennifer says. "I feel very lucky and fortunate that I have the wonderful life I have."
Jennifer, who is 39, and Bill, 38, decided to adopt after suffering fertility challenges for years.
"I wanted us to be parents before we were too old to enjoy being parents," she explains.
The couple explains that they decided to star on the show in order to help people learn more about dwarfism.
"A little girl came up to me in a store and said, 'You are a little person,' very matter-of-factly and I said, 'Yes, I am, thank you very much,'" Jennifer adds. "We have an opportunity to raise awareness, and that's wonderful."
