Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 heads into its two part finale with Season 9, Episode 23: "Readiness Is All" (May 9). What does the end of the season have in store? We've rounded up the juiciest spoilers about the episode right here for your reading pleasure.

The big event. As you can see in the preview of the episode, a big storm is headed Seattle's way. According to the official synopsis, it's a "superstorm," which is what Hurricane Sandy was earlier this year. It sounds like things are going to get bad at the hospital because of the storm.

Owen and Ethan get closer. The official synopsis hints, "Owen’s desire to be a parent gets stronger as he becomes closer to Ethan." This episode will also conclude the arc with Ethan's grandmother.

MerDer baby's life in danger. "One wrong move puts the lives of Meredith and her baby in jeopardy," says the synopsis; based on the preview we think that wrong move is falling down the stairs. But could Mer or her baby really die?

Jo and Alex. The official synopsis says "Jo looks to Alex for help in a moment of crisis." Presumably this is a continuation of the end of Episode 22, where Jo came to Alex after being abused by Jason.

Who gets a shock? "One doctor gets the shock of her life." Who do you think this is? We assume not Mer, since she already has a plot for this episode. We're thinking it might be related to the spoiler that something "fairly life-changing" happens for April. Maybe Matthew proposes?

"Emotional deaths." This two part finale won't be as brutal as last year's finale, says Shonda Rhimes, but you can expect it to be more emotional.
