Join us for our live American Idol recap, watch the performances with us, and decide who will will earn your American Idol votes. Will it be powerhouse songwriter Angie Miller? Soulful siren Candice Glover? Or country crooner Kree Harrison? Only you have the power to decide!
It’s all come down to this. The American Idol performances tonight will finally determine which of the Top 3 ladies will battle it out for the Season 12 crown next week. The race is so tight at this point, we could barely decide who came out on ahead in our American Idol Power Rankings for the Top 3 — although we did finally choose Angie Miller with a slight lead.
The American Idol theme tonight is split into three parts: Jimmy Iovine’s choice, judges’ choice, and producers’ choice. Originally, our American Idol spoilers indicated the contestants would be getting to choose one of their songs, but The Idol Pad claims this was switched to a Producer's Choice pick instead. We hope not, because we really think the finalists should get to decide on at least one song for their final three American Idol performances tonight.
According to American Idol spoilers for tonight’s show, here are the song each of the Top 3 will be performing — although we don’t know yet which song goes with what “choice.”
Angie Miller American Idol Top 3 Performances:
“Maybe” by Emile Sandé
“Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John
“Try” by Pink
Candice Glover: American Idol Top 3 Performances:
