Justin Rivers Voted Off on The Voice 2013: Did Blake Shelton Make the Right Call?

We couldn't believe our eyes or our ears when Justin Rivers was voted off The Voice 2013 during the first live result show. What gives, everyone? This singer-songwriter was one of the strongest members of Team Blake Shelton, and his rendition of “Meet Me in the Middle” by Diamond Rio during Monday night's live performances was jaw dropping.

Unfortunately, The American Public (you, yes, you!) didn't think Justin was quite up to snuff, and he landed in the bottom two along with The Swon Brothers. Ultimately, Coach Blake chose to save The Swon Brothers thanks to their crowd-pleasing performance of “Fishin’ in the Dark” by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and we're suffering from The Sads.

Justin seemed majorly bummed to be leaving The Voice, and we're wondering if Blake made the wrong decision. In the words of Adam Levine, Justin had moves like Jagger. Moves that will be sorely missed.

Do you think Justin should have been voted off The Voice, or should The Swon Brothers have packed their bags (by which we mean cowboy hats) and left in his place? Hit the poll and tell us your thoughts!
