Puppy Left Alone In Car For a Month Survives Against All Odds

If you have ever been fortunate enough to own a dog, this next story will really, really anger you.

It seems that a car towed to the impound lot a month ago was carrying a bit of special cargo, in the form of a cute little puppy. The female terrier was left alone in the car sitting in the impound lot without being discovered for an entire month, and her owners apparently never came to claim her.

Luckily, this story has a happy ending, because the miracle puppy did not take her adversity lying down. Being a smart little scrapper without any kibble readily available, she ate trash to get by.

While the poor pup was in survival mode, a worker at the impound lot noticed the her inside the car and alerted the police. Animal control came and promptly freed her from her car prison.

The sweet little pup is now named Kia. She is doing fine in the care of the good people at KC Pet Project, but we bet she doesn’t like car rides much.
