Snoop Lion: I Was an Actual Pimp — and Sold Sex to Pro Athletes

It's hard out there for a pimp, as Snoop Lion presumably learned.

Snoop formerly known as Snoop Dogg is admitting that he was an actual pimp at one point, according to Rolling Stone.

The 41-year-old rapper says that he had a coterie of prostitutes whom he would take with him around the country and offer their services to interested gentlemen.

"I put an organization together," Snoop says. "I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten bitches on it. I could fire a bitch, f**k a bitch, get a new ho: It was my program. City to city, titty to titty, hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer."

He says that several professional athletes paid him to sleep with his hookers.

"If I'm in a city where where the Denver Broncos or the Nuggets play, I get a couple of they players to come hang out, pick and choose, and whichever one you like comes with a number," he says. "A lot of athletes bought pussy from me."

Rolling Stone approximates that this was going on around 2003 or so.

Snoop and his wife have remained married since 1997, and she stayed with him despite this second job of his.

"My wife had to take a backseat to this s**t," he says. However, "she stayed in my corner," he says, and "when I decided to let it go, she was still there." She's more understanding than we would have been.

However, Snoop says he didn't do this for the money.

"I'd act like I'd take the money from the bitch, but I'd let her have it," Snoop says in an oh-so-classy way. "It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp."

"As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp, I dreamed of having cars and clothes and bitches to match," he explains. "I said, 'F**k it I'm finna do it.'"

See, kids dreams can come true.
