On May 13, Team Usher‘s singer Josiah Hawley belted out “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” by The Script on The Voice 2013. During rehearsals, the Arkansas jazz singer had trouble with his flat and sharp notes, but came through with the alternative pop song once he hit the stage.

Coach Adam Levine told the former model that he “sounded the best you ever have tonight,” while Blake told him that it made a lot of sense for him to be on Usher’s team. Usher enjoyed that Josiah took the song that was chosen for him, but made a gutsy choice to sing it acoustic and make it “intimate.” He also noted that he enjoyed working with Josiah, who he likened to a “younger Adam.”
