With TweetPee, Now Your Baby’s Diaper Will Tweet You When It Gets Wet

Parents in Brazil now have the opportunity to let social media help them out with their diaper duties.

A new app currently being tested by the diaper brand Huggies, appropriately named TweetPee, alerts parents via tweet when the moisture level in their child’s diaper reaches a certain amount (i.e., when the diaper is wet). The baby wears a small badge, which looks like a very cute little bird, on the front of their diaper, the badge senses wetness, and prompts the tweet.

The app also informs parents when they’re running low on their diaper supply by tweeting a reminder to buy more. The new technology is currently only available in Brazil, but if the testing is successful, Huggies plans to release the app globally.

Now you tell us: Would you use this app?
