Not only is Revenge returning for Season 3 this fall, but the hit shoreside drama is keeping its coveted 9 p.m. ET slot on Sunday nights. The show originated on Wednesday nights, and after an impressive first season, it was moved to the former Desperate Housewives spot.
With a lackluster Season 2, we weren’t sure Revenge would be allowed to keep such prime real estate in ABC’s lineup, but according to TVLine, the show will be returning in the fall at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday nights.
The fantasy series Once Upon a Time will air the hour before Revenge and Emily Thorne and co. will be followed by the network’s new drama, Betrayal.
Betrayal is the story of a photographer who begins an affair with a lawyer from a powerful family, but things get complicated when the photographer’s husband is involved in the same court case as her lover.
That could be a strong, dramatic lineup for ABC, but it does seem like the network has axed too many of its comedies in the upcoming season.
