The Vampire Diaries Writers Tweet About the Season 4 Finale

We may have a touch of the vapors after reading some of the tweets from The Vampire Diaries writers. The Season 4 finale airs tonight, and they must really want viewers to be prepared for some major twists.

Executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries wrote the episode, while Chris Grismer directed it. Along with TVD writer Michael Narducci, they’ve been tweeting some alarming — and heart-tugging — things.

Julie took to Twitter to say, “Tonight is the night --- season finale of #TVD written by @carolinedries and me. It's chock full o' nostalgia. Plus some bloody shenanigans..” Nostalgia seems appropriate for graduation. Bloody shenanigans? Well, it’s Mystic Falls.

Michael Narducci warned, “‘Graduation’ in twelve hours. Nothing will be the same after tonight. #TVD #TVDFAMILY #AVOIDSPOILERS.” Thanks for the heads up!

Perhaps the most dire tweets came from Chris Grismer. First, he wrote, “Who is ready for an "are you kidding me?" kind of episode? #tvd #TVDParty.” When a follower asked if they’d need a support group following the finale, he replied, “I would assume so.” You’re killing us, Grismer!

Someone will take the cure. Yep. Mystic Falls will have one more human. Based on these tweets, we’re guessing whomever ingests it will shock us all. Stefan (Paul Wesley)? Elena (Nina Dobrev)? Damon (Ian Somerhalder)? Caroline (Candice Accola)? Katherine (Nina Dobrev)?

Can ghosts take the cure? Will it “cure” their death? Because if so, we vote for Alaric (Matt Davis).
