Lauri, who left the show four seasons ago, was spotted attending Tamra Barney’s wedding dress fitting just last December, so we can only assume she’ll get an invite to the wedding.
In Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Episode 8, Lauri makes her grand return to help Tamra shop for a new wedding ring. She starts off by giving us an update on her life since exiting the show in 2008, starting with her children. Her youngest, Sophie, is now 15 years old and is a competitive horse rider. Josh, her once troubled son, is now 24 years old and married with a baby on the way. Lauri's oldest child, daughter Ashley, is 28 and leading a much more responsible life than what viewers saw in the past.
When the conversation turns to Vicki Gunvalson, Lauri Waring Peterson doesn't pull any punches. She and Tamra discuss Vicki's somewhat hypocritical stance on relationships.
"It's ok to point out what she wants to point out in others, but she doesn’t want to hear the same thing for her," Lauri said of Vicki's tendency to criticize people's significant others. Lauri even suggested Vicki had a hand in ending Tamra's marriage to former husband Simon Barney.
While Tamra didn't confirm one way or the other, Lauri said her friendship with Vicki almost took a toll on her relationship with husband George Peterson.
"I actually feel like she tried to sabotage the relationship a little bit," Lauri confessed. "I just figured she’s just so unhappy, she wanted to make sure everybody else was unhappy."
With that sentiment, we can't wait for Lauri and Vicki to be alone in a room together in Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8!
