Amanda Bynes Kicked Off Private Jet For Causing Scene
A word to the wise for all celebs out there: Obnoxiously asking, “Don’t you know who I am?” is not a valid form of identification anywhere on earth.
Unfortunately, Amanda Bynes hadn’t gotten that memo when she arrived at New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, according to TMZ. The retired actress/argument against child stardom was trying to catch a private jet to LA, when — horror of horrors — she was asked to provide identification.
Since Amanda’s driver’s licence had been suspended, thanks to her nasty habit of crashing her car into things, she had no proof of her identity on her, but inspiration soon struck.
When she was told that she wouldn’t be able to board the plane without verification of her identity, Amanda told the pilot to Google her, shouting, “I’m Amanda Bynes!”
While the impossibly patient pilot called his company to see if he could board her using just a Google search and a prayer, their answer was, predictably, “No,” and she was booted from the flight.
According to the TSA, boxes of hair extensions and VHS tapes of The Amanda Show don’t count as ID either, so she might want to invest in a passport before she tries to board another plane.
