Mad Men Star Disses “Highly Unprofessional” Jeremy Piven — Here’s Why
Remember when Jeremy Piven dropped out of the Broadway play Speed-the-Plow due to mercury poisoning? It turned into "Sushi-Gate" and one of his play co-stars, Elisabeth Moss, talked about it Thursday on Watch What Happens Live.
Bravo's Andy Cohen asked the Mad Men star, “What, besides eating too much sushi, caused Jeremy Piven to quit Speed-the-Plow?”
“That’s a good one. I could go on and on,” Elisabeth answered (via RadarOnline), before adding with a smile, “Being highly unprofessional." The actress explained what it was like from the cast's perspective. “We were all surprised. It came out of nowhere. He just didn’t come back one day." She added that she ran into Jeremy only a few weeks later at the Golden Globe Awards, even though "he was supposed to be really sick.”
Too sick for Broadway, not too sick for an awards show. See, this is why we love 1) Watch What Happens Live and 2) Elisabeth Moss, who was equally frank a while back when discussing her ex-husband Frank Armisen. Tell us what you really think!
