Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars Season 4, Episode 3 Synopsis: Melissa Drama

We haven’t heard a great deal about Pretty Little Liars Season 4, Episode 3: “Cat’s Cradle,” other than the fact that Troian Bellisario (Spencer Hastings) and Torrey DeVitto (Melissa Hastings) will be getting some screen time together. Now we know why, thanks to a short episode synopsis from MSN TV.

Read spoilers at your own risk! For more on Wetpaint Entertainment's philosophy on spoilers, click here.

Here's the synopsis: "The Liars wonder why Melissa is back in town." It’s not groundbreaking, but it piques our interest, given that the we know Spence’s big sis is part of the so-called “B” Team.

Will Spencer confront her sister about her clandestine meetings with Jenna and Shana? We know there will be a nighttime forest scene between the sisters in either Episode 3 or Episode 4. Let’s hope Spence has better luck in the Rosewood wilderness than she has the last couple times she's been out there. Melissa wouldn’t actually hurt Spence... right?

This short description also implies that Melissa won’t be in the first two episodes of the season (or at least won't be back until near the end of Episode 2), which, if correct, would mean she isn’t making an appearance at the funeral in the Season 4 premiere, and won't be involved with the post-trunk aftermath. Looks like they’re saving the Hastings family drama for a few episodes in.

Why do you think Melissa is back in Rosewood? Let us know in the comments below!
