Jackson Family Misses Day of Wrongful Death Trial in Wake of Paris’s Suicide Attempt

It's good to see where the Jackson family's priorities are! The day after Paris Jackson's suicide attempt, none of the Jackson family showed up for court today, where a wrongful-death lawsuit against AEG Live over Michael Jackson's death is raging.

Katherine Jackson has been super-busy with the suit, which alleges they're the ones that hired Michael's doctor Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 over Michael Jackson's 2009 death.

AEG Live's defense is that Michael himself brought the doctor on board.

While the family was scheduled to be in court today for another day of the trial, which started April 29. However, after the alleged of Michael's daughter Paris, the family seemed to re-prioritize where they needed to be.

While Katherine hasn't commented on the suicide personally, her attorney's statement said, "Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy."

Regardless of the Jackson family's presence, testimony still continued in the lawsuit today.
