On June 10, Team Adam Levine’s Texan singer Amber Carrington performed “Sad” by Maroon 5 on The Voice 2013. The country singer took the stage singing a rendition of her own coach’s song with pure emotion.

Coach Blake Shelton said that he’s always blown away by her, but the fact that she made one of Adam’s songs sound really beautiful is amazing. He went on to say that he can’t wait to buy one of her albums, because she’s an amazing star.

Coach Usher told Amber that he was fan, and Amber’s coach Adam told the Texan songstress that he’s not only happy that she sang one of his songs and did it justice, but sang it better than him.
