Tamra Barney’s bachelorette party in Puerto Vallarta brought out the best and worst in her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars. But most of all, it gave Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson the perfect arena to hash out their differences with each other.
In Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Episode 11, Gretchen feels slighted after Vicki steals Tamra and Lydia McLaughlin away for a night of drunken and debaucherous fun in the city. The next day while trying to enjoy a day at the beach, Tamra confronts Vicki about her catty remarks toward Tamra and Gretchen’s friendship.
“I’m so sick of the BFF s**t,” Tamra says to her. “I want us all to be friends.”
Vicki explains she thinks it’s funny that when she and Tamra drifted apart, Gretchen suddenly swooped in to become the new best friend. She said it was just like when Gretchen and Alexis had their falling out, and Vicki became Alexis’s new confidant.
“But I didn't’ blame you for that,” Gretchen replies.
“It just was a very small coincidence that when everything started going wrong in my friendship with Tamra and my life, you then all of a sudden were the saving grace and the princess that decided to be the perfect person,” retorts Vicki.
Gretchen accuses Vicki of talking down to her, and in return Vicki mocks Gretchen by calling her a “princess” and a “ballerina.”
“I’ve never claimed to be perfect by any shape or form, that’s your own insecurities,” Gretchen says. When Vicki says she doesn’t have any insecurities, Gretchen excuses herself so she doesn’t “kill a bitch,” in her words.
Tamra seems the most baffled of all watching two of her closest friends scream at each other, which begs the question: Who would you rather be friends with, Gretchen Rossi or Vicki Gunvalson? Let us know by choosing one of the reaction buttons below!
