Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock has grown to love all her contestants, but some of her connections are steamier than others. This gal has already fallen head-over-dodgeballs for the likes of Brooks Forester and Ben Scott, but Monday night's date-a-palooza brought a few new players to the game.
Chris Siegfried came out of left field and stole Desiree's heart (and her rose!) during the group date dodgeball session, and it looks like their relationship is on the fast track thanks to a romantic slow dancing session.
"I didn't expect our conversation to come so easily," Des muses in her People Bachelorette Blog. "I felt like I'd known him for years. He was so witty and confident, and I knew I wanted to spend more time with him. Giving Chris the rose meant a lot to me and the slow dance in the park was the romance I had hoped for."
The really weird thing? Des formed an intimate connection to Chris while there were a dozen other men vying for her attention, yet she barely bonded with Kasey Stewart even though they went on a one-on-one date! Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that Des was coming off her blowout fight with Brian "Wrong Reasons" Jarosinski....
"After dinner took a turn for the worse when the wind picked up, I wasn't sure if it was just the elements or if there was something lacking in my connection with Kasey," Des shares. "I was disappointed in the date and confused about what might be missing between us. Was it because of that morning's drama?"
It's definitely possible that Brian's drama-rama threw Des off her game, but we can't help wondering whether the date would have lacked chemistry if Chris had been on it instead of Kasey. Both of these bros are A+ hubby material, but we're thinking Chris might have an edge on everyone's favorite hashtag-obsessed internet geek!
