Original Story, 9:30 a.m. EST:
It looks like Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden isn't being so good after all.
TMZ reports that Nicole Richie's rocker husband was kicked out of an Australian hotel over the weekend after drugs were allegedly found in his room.
New South Wales police executed a search warrant on Joel's hotel room at 10:30 PM on Sunday and discovered a "small amount of plant matter believed to be cannabis."
The police did not confirm whether or not they were certain the weed belonged to Joel, but a man fitting Joel's description
While the police approached the matter with some discretion, the hotel's staff did not, ponying up plenty of specific information about the incident.
"Joel Madden was ejected from the hotel because a small amount of cannabis was found inside his hotel room," reported the manager of the Darling Hotel.
"In Australia there is zero tolerance for this no matter where you are."
