The couple said “I do” on June 15 at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. The ceremony was moderately sized, with more than 100 guests. Among those gathered for the special occasion were Gretchen Rossi, Vicki Gunvalson, and Alexis Bellino, all co-housewives on RHOC.
Tamra, who has been married twice before, had a flair for the dramatics, choosing three different dresses for the big day — all by Mark Zunino. “It’s going to be a big wedding, so I am doing three different dresses for three different stages of the wedding,” Tamra told Life & Style last month. “A bridal one, a reception one and a party one.”
“The ceremony was elegant and beautiful,” an eyewitness says. “At the altar was an upside-down gold bicycle and gold chandeliers with crystal and white flowers draping down.” As for the reception, which took place in the Monarch Ballroom, Tamra and Eddie made sure their guests had a good time. “There will be lots of booze,” Tamra told Life & Style. “There will be an open bar.”
The ballroom was decked out by wedding planner Diane Valentine in romantic shades of pink. “The tables were covered with a nude-colored tablecloth and decorated with tall branches topped with pink and white flowers, and the gold chairs were decorated with white tulle and crystal accents,” the eyewitness says.
Bravo filmed Tamra’s big day for a three-part wedding special called Tamra’s OC Wedding, which will air on Mondays starting on September 2. The show will document the couple’s joint bachelor and bachelorette party in Vegas, all aspects of the wedding planning — including Tamra’s dress fittings. "I wouldn't have it any other way,” Tamra said about having her wedding filmed for TV. “My fans have seen me go through so much that of course I'd want to share that."
The couple will set out on their honeymoon in July once filming for the wedding spin-off is complete. “All she wanted was this big, fairy-tale wedding, and now it’s come true,” a friend of the couple shared.
