Former Marine Who Lost a Leg in Afghanistan Is Now a Smokin’ Hot Underwear Model
U.S. Marine Alex Minsky never expected to wind up where he did, being photographed in his underpants, making money off of his hot bod.
NBC 4 reports that just a short while ago, the 24-year-old Costa Mesa native was not in very good place in his life. Three years earlier he was serving as a Marine in Afghanistan, where he and his fellow soldiers were the victims of a roadside bombing.
Alex recovered from the coma he slipped into, but lost his leg. Eventually, he learned to use his prosthetic limb, but he fell into a depression and turned to alcohol to numb his pain. Shortly thereafter, his younger brother unexpectedly died, which plummeted him into an even deeper depression.
One day, Alex hit rock bottom, and in a last-ditch effort, he challenged himself to quit drinking for just one day. That was the day he was discovered by a photographer and tapped to be a model.
Alex has been posing ever since. He shows off his multiple tattoos, his ripped muscles, and his war injuries. He says, "Just because I don't have a leg doesn't mean it's going to slow me down. I want people to look at me and not give up. Not quit."
We feel like dropping and giving this ex-soldier twenty, for sure!
