Jennifer Morrison Stars in “Some Girl(s)” With Adam Brody — Watch the Trailer! (VIDEO)
It’s almost that time of year again: when our favorite network TV shows are on their summer hiatuses and we have to amuse ourselves by watching their stars in other projects. Luckily, Once Upon a Time’s Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) has an upcoming summer film, and it looks awesome.
Some Girl(s) tells the story of “Man” (played by Adam Brody!) who prepares for his impending nuptials by taking a cross-country trip to visit his ex-girlfriends. Jennifer plays one of those girlfriends: Sam, Man’s high school girlfriend, and she looks awesomely neurotic (and ginger!) in the trailer below. This is also a reunion for the duo, who co-starred in 2003's Grind.
The indie film, which premiered at SXSW in March and is an adaptation of Neil LaBute's play of the same name, has an excellent cast. In addition to Jennifer and Adam, Mía Maestro, Emily Watson, Zoe Kazan, and Kristen Bell also star. It will be released in select cities and on Vimeo on Demand simultaneously on June 28.
Jennifer’s character in Some Girl(s) seems startlingly different from Emma in OUAT. We’re psyched to see her fill the shoes of another sort of character. Plus, we love Seth Cohen, so we’ll definitely be checking this one out.
