Instead, Cami is placed on a tarot card: le soleil, which means “sun” in French. From what we saw in the backdoor pilot of The Originals, Cami is a bartender/psychology student who didn’t quake with fear upon meeting Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and brought Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to tears with her views on art.
We wanted to know more about the sun card, so we headed over to tarotlovers.com to see what we could find out. (We swear, it was our first visit to that site.) Evidently, the sun card “is possibly one of the nicest cards to have in a spread. If you have been having a hard time recently then this cards signifies the end of the dark days and the start of the sunshine.” Well, that’s one way to interpret a meeting with Klaus!
The site also says, “This card is an incredibly positive card that brings with it feelings of inner peace, contentment, and hope.” It sounds like Cami might have an interesting impact on these vampires and hybrids.
We can’t wait to see the rest of the cards in the deck!
