Ole, friends. Ole. It is time, on this first of July, for The Bachelorette’s Desiree Hartsock and her eight remaining men to travel to España. And sí, we are muy excited to watch what happens when el grupo plays some fútbol against a super balling group of women. Watch your fingers, Brooks Forester and Michael Garofola, because these mujeres aren’t here to make friends (We miss you, Ben Scott!).
Also happening tonight? Something a little sadder than watching the boys get crushed on the field. That’s right, amigos, tonight we will be losing three more boys vying for the amor of our little Desiree. Who’s going home? We’ll tell you if you really want to know, but it’s time for you to start writing some poems to your lost ones. Pro tip: the words “qué lástima” should be in every line...
Besides the soccer (sorry, fútbol), the eliminations, and the Spain of it all, there’s also mucho drama on the boys’ end of things, with a coupla muchachos who want to tell Des that James Case isn’t there for the right reasons. She’s probably like “look, it was ONE SONG, and that was FOUR EPISODES ago,” but still, the dudes can’t let it go. Supposedly, James is just there to be the next Bachelor. To which we have to say: ¡qué lástima!
Tune in to ABC at 8/7c for The Bachelorette Season 9 Episode 6. ¡Adiós!
