Big Brother 15: Racial And Homophobic Language Rampant Throughout House

So far on Big Brother 15, there has been rampant use of racist and bigoted remarks — and we're not even past the first elimination.

The worst offenders of the offensive language are the Blonde-tourage. Aaryn has proven herself to be rather vicious. She got into a huge fight with Candice (aka the half-black houseguest) because she thinks Candice sat on her hat. Aaryn corrected Candice during the middle of the fight, explaining that the word is "asked, not axed," as Candice was pronouncing it.

It's not the worst thing we've ever heard, but it's certainly coded language, like calling her "urban." Aaryn then chatted with Kaitlin and GinaMarie about Candice and Howard being the "tokens" in the house since they're both black.

Sure, Aaryn's comments are pretty terrible, but the other half of the house speaks badly about Candice. For them it isn't about race, but you can totally tell they don't appreciate her as a person.

Oh, and if you don't already hate Aaryn, she also spoke ill of Helen, commenting that she should shut up and "go make some rice." She also mocked the fact that Andy will probably win MVP all the time because "people love the queers."

This derogatory language problem also includes Kaitlin using the n-word. In her defense, she was using the slang version, ending with an "a," in a general sense and not referring to African-Americans in any way, and as soon as she did it, it seemed like she regretted it. She was using it to refer to other people, the same way a rapper would use it in a song. But is it OK? Probably not.

Spencer has called Andy, the homosexual HG, "Kermit the F**" because he was wearing green. It looks like he was joking to Andy's face and those two seem to have the kind of friendly relationship where Andy was OK with it, but it's still pretty much terrible.

There's a lot of craziness going on inside the Big Brother 15 house, and it will be interesting to see how much of it, if any, makes it to TV.

Should Big Brother expel Aaryn over her inappropriate language? Sound off in the comments below!
