John Mayer Dedicates Love Song to Katy Perry in Concert
Katy Perry's outfits may have her body body looking more like a Candyland board than any traditional wonderland we've seen, but she still inspires beau John Mayer when he gets that guitar in hand.
People reports that the folksy crooner has some sweet words for his on-again girlfriend during a performance in Milwaukee, proving once and for all that, despite all his sparkly vampire magic, R-Pattz is never going to get it.
Taking a break from his set, Mayer explained to the audience how Katy had helped him when he lost the use of his voice for nearly two years, due to vocal chord problems, and thanked the singer for her support during those trying times.
"She was so patient," he told the crowd, mentioning how Katy would take care of him when he couldn't do simple things, like make phone calls. John went on to thank Katy again for taking the time "to continue to get to know me and love me," despite the obstacles in their way.
After gushing about her for a few minutes, John dedicated his song "A Face to Call Home" to the "Teenage Dream" singer, telling the crowd the song was for "Katy, who is my face to call home."
