Chris Harrison Teases “Pivotal,” Possibly Game-Changing Hometown Dates
Desiree Hartsock has almost reached the finish line in her race to find love on The Bachelorette! This brunette beauty has narrowed down her man harem to just four potential husbands, and she's taking a huge step during Monday's all-new episode (airing July 15). That's right, Des is going on hometown dates, where she'll meet the families of Brooks Forester, Chris Siegfried, Drew Kenney, and Zak Waddell!
Des will have to say goodbye to one of these studs after hometown dates, so it's more important than ever that her hunks make a good impression. Which means any crazy family members should go ahead and check themselves before they wreck themselves (looking at you and your wandering massage hands, Papa Siegfried).
"This next week with be incredibly pivotal because at this point, Des really needs to see that these men want to be there for her for the long haul and that they are just as committed to these relationships as she is," Chris Harrison writes in his Entertainment Weekly Bachelor Blog. "Hometowns are always my favorite because you can’t fake family."
True that, Chris. And no one knows this better than Des herself, whose opinionated brother put a definite damper on her chances of winning Sean Lowe's heart on Bachelor 17. Hopefully, Des' own hometown experience will inspire her to go easy on Chris, Zak, Books and Drew. After all, there are more than a few wildcards in the Hartsock clan!
