Castle Season 6: Another Department of Justice Investigator Cast! Is This the End of Caskett?!

Does this mean that Kate Beckett took the job? Crash and Jarhead star Jocko Sims has been cast as Department of Justice investigator Matt Hendricks, ABC confirms to Wetpaint exclusively.

This isn't the first actor Castle has cast in a DoJ role, which can't be a coincidence after Season 5's finale cliffhanger. House star Lisa Edelstein will also play a federal investigator in Season 6, starting with the season premiere!

When last we left Castle and Beckett, we were freaking out, because Rick had just proposed to Kate on a swing set, and the very fate of their relationship seemed to hinge on whether Kate (a) took a Department of Justice job in Washington, DC, and (b) maybe got a case of the wanting-to-get-marrieds.

Jocko is confirmed to play Matt in episodes 1 and 2 of Season 6.

Other Castle casting news includes the addition of Yancey Arias (Revenge) as Carl Villante, the head of an elite investigative unit. Since he apparently clashes with Beckett and Castle during a case, there's reason to believe that Beckett is still in New York when the series starts.

What do you think this casting news means for Castle and Beckett? Will their seasons-in-the-making relationship be over before it has a chance to really start, spoilers aside? (Assuming Nathan Fillion is on set.)
