Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale Not Presenting at 2013 Do Something Awards on July 31, 2013 (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Lucy will not be presenting at the Do Something Awards tonight, July 31, 2013. "Sad I can't be there for the @dosomething awards today...I'll be stuck here in PLL land. Hope everyone has a good time!" she tweeted earlier this afternoon. However, her on-screen frenemy Janel Parrish (Mona) will be there! Janel tweeted, "So excited to be a presenter for the @VH1 #DoSomethingAwards tonight! You can catch the show at 8 pm PST on VH1 :)."

ORIGINAL STORYPretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is on a roll. On the heels of her Teen Choice Awards nomination and Young Hollywood Award, she’s been tapped to present at the 2013 Do Something Awards!

This show doesn’t just revolve around celebrities, though — it’s honoring real people who make a difference in the world, regardless of their status. Former One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush is hosting, while Luce will be joined by presenters Cynthia Nixon, Malin Akerman, and more.

The show airs live on Wednesday, July 31 at 8 p.m. ET on VH1 in Los Angeles, with celeb honorees including Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey, Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, American Idol’s Jennifer Hudson, and more. The spotlight will be shared by five “do-gooders” who are 25 and under, “creating substantial change in our world” — and vying to win $100,000 for their cause. So exciting!

While Lucy isn’t being honored, we’re still excited to see her at the awards show. Will you be tuning in? Sound off below!
