Kim Kardashian: Why Baby North West Didn’t Get a “K” Name (VIDEO)
Its safe to say that, by now, practically the entire world knows Kim Kardashian and Kanye West decided to name their baby daughter North West. But it’s no secret that plenty of people thought K&K would go a different route when naming their daughter. Kim’s mother gave all her daughters names that started with a K, and many assumed that Kim and Kanye would do the same.
In a clip from Sunday’s upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim explains why she and ‘Ye avoided starting their daughter’s name with that particular letter.
While on vacation in Greece, Kim tells her family that she and her boyfriend do “kind of... want” to have their child’s name start with a K. However, there’s one big koncern keeping them far away from a K name. “But then our kid, if it’s a K, then they’ll call us the KKK,” she says.
Yeah, it’s probably not the best idea to give anybody a reason to try and associate you with the Ku Klux Klan. Good call, Kim.
Besides, everybody seems to be really on board with K&K’s ultimate baby name choice. "I'm feeling North," Brody says in the clip. "North West."
"Me too!" Kourtney says. "It's pretty and cool." Do you agree with Kim and Kanye’s ultimate baby name choice?
