Art Parkinson is best known for portraying Rickon, the youngest member of the Stark family on Game of Thrones, but he will soon be joining a very different family.
Art has been cast as Dracula’s son, Ingeras, in Universal Studios’ upcoming movie about the world’s most well-known vampire, simply titled Dracula . Luke Evans will play the titular role, continuing his streak of portraying immortal beings after his roles as Apollo in 2010’s Clash of the Titans and Zeus in 2011’s Immortals.
The film gives a new spin on the origin of Dracula, with Evans playing a Transylvanian prince who has to save his wife and son from Turkish mercenaries, and is apparently turned into Dracula in the process. Since Art is playing the son, it sounds like the actor once again will have a role where he is perpetually in danger and spends a lot of time off-camera. Maybe he’ll be lucky enough to get a couple lines, though, unlike on GoT.
Speaking of our favorite fantasy epic, Art can probably afford to take the time off from GoT. Now that Rickon has gone off with Osha and left Bran behind, we really don’t know when, or if, we’ll see him again.

The two brothers parted ways in the third book of the A Song of Ice and Fire, and Rickon has not been seen again in either of the two books that have been published since. He is mentioned as being alive, but we’ll likely have to wait a long time before we know what happens to the quietest Stark.
