True Blood Season 6 Spoilers: Pressure Mounts For Alcide, Says Joe Manganiello
We can all agree that Season 6 of HBO’s hit drama True Blood has been pulling no punches these days when it comes to drama.
With all the twists, turns, and deaths so far this season, we’re already feeling like boxers in the last round of a fight. We are in dire need of a pep talk from the coach and some sort of sports-beverage-based rehydration. It turns out we’re not the only ones who feel that way.
“It’s like a pot with a lid on top and you can only hold it down for so long and that pressure is gonna blow that pot right off,” says True Blood star Joe Manganiello (Alcide). How does this burly-wolfman keeps his cool in the face of all that aforementioned pressure? He works out! This is of no surprise to anyone who has seen Joe in Magic Mike, True Blood, or you know, walking down the street.
Fitness is a huge part of Joe’s life, and he’s taking his mind-body philosophy to a bookstore near you with his epic-titled tome, “Joe Manganiello’s Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You’ve Always Wanted.”
Here’s hoping we’ll burn some calories as we get hot and bothered turning the pages of this newbie author’s book. Joe joins the literary ranks of other True Blood cast members, like Michael McMillian, whose book “The Steve Newlin Field Guide to Vampires” is also bound to hit shelves this fall.
Will you pick up a copy of Joe’s book (at least for all of the sexy shirtless pics)? Sound off in the comments!
