In the midst of her terrible scandal, Teresa Giudice of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is trying her best to keep her head up. Some Real Housewives and "friends" of RHs are trying to knock her down, like Kim G., but others are stepping up in her defense and showing their support.
Lea Black of the Real Housewives of Miami recently spoke with People.com, where she weighed in on the Giudice's situation.
"As much as she drove me nuts on the show and I was never rooting for her on the show … my heart breaks for them," she said, adding, "What I'm not happy about is the way people pile on … You don't kick someone when they're down."
Clearly referring to the more hostile tweets some people have made about Teresa and her family, Lea continued, "They work hard, they've got four kids, they're in a lot of trouble and they're trying to survive and it's just not the time to pile on and I find it disgusting."
Meanwhile, former New York Housewife Jill Zarin also sympathized with her neighboring Housewife.
"I feel really bad because I really like Teresa," she told People. "She is a sweet girl and a good mother. I only want the best for her and her family."
