Do you find Cynthia Bailey's marriage to Peter Thomas fascinating? If so, we have good news for you. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her hubby recently penned a book called Carry On Baggage: Our Nonstop Flight and it's all about the couple's long road to happiness. The bio-style book comes out on September 5, but the pair stopped by Atlanta's Fox network to talk about about it on their program, "Good Day."
Even though Cynthia and Peter are happily married now, even they can admit that their wedding day was far from perfect.
"You guys saw us get married on the show... It was a little bumpy, to say the least... borderline disaster," Cynthia laughed as she recalled the drama-filled event. In case you missed it, Cynthia's sister and mother debated withholding the marriage certificate to keep Cynthia from marrying her man. Yeah, you could say that qualifies as a borderline disaster.
Luckily, the couple had a second chance at their dream wedding when they renewed their vows on a beautiful beach in Anguilla. Cynthia usually doesn't love surprises, but this time, Peter did good.
As far as what's to come on Season 6 of RHoA, Peter shared what he knew, which, unfortunately, wasn't much.
"We don't even know...," he revealed, adding, "That's what's so interesting about being on this program, you never know what's gonna happen."
That's for sure!
