The Bachelor

Sean Lowe Passes The Bachelor Torch To Juan Pablo Galavis — Exclusive!

Last September, Sean Lowe was just a single guy about to embark on his international search for love. Fast forward to almost a year later and he’s now happily engaged to winner Catherine Giudici and planning to spend his life with her. Could a similar fate be in store for 2014’s Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis?

Sean and Catherine’s adoration for each other was evident on last night’s live taping of the “After the Final Rose” special, where, from the audience, they filled everyone in on their wedding plans (and hopes for Desiree Hartsock’s fairytale to have a happy ending). And towards the end of the show, it was only fitting that Sean looked on while Juan Pablo succeeded him while being named the franchise’s next Bachelor.

After the taping, Sean spoke exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment, giving us his well wishes for JP. Here’s what he had to say:

“Tonight, I had the chance to meet Juan Pablo at After the Final Rose and he seems like a really great guy,” Sean told Wetpaint Entertainment. “I wish him nothing but the best and sincerely hope he finds love and happiness just like I did during my time on The Bachelor.”

Now that the focus on Sean and Catherine is letting up a bit in the wake of the Juan Pablo news, we’re told the couple is set to embark on a romantic vacation and spend some up-close-and-personal quality time together.

Juan Pablo, in the meantime, is spending some quality time of his own with a lady — his daughter, Camila — before he starts shooting in the fall. Whoever vies for his heart next season is going to have to go through her first!
