Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Summer Finale Spoilers: Everything You Need to Know

Summer always flies by too fast, and that's especially true for Pretty Little Liars fans. Somehow, we've already reached the Season 4 summer finale (Season 4, Episode 12:" Now You See Me, Now You Don't"). As disappointed as we are to face another long hiatus, we can't wait to see what the final instalment of summer has in store for us, so we've gathered all of the juiciest spoilers about the summer finale right here.

Read spoilers at your own risk! For more on Wetpaint Entertainment's philosophy on spoilers, click here.

Expect thrills and chills. No shocker here: The cast and crew promise the summer finale will be full of excitement. "Hearts may actually stop beating"; the finale "redefines epic," is "cutting edge," and will blow your mind; it will feature one of "those" jaw to the floor shocks. You get the idea.

Big answers — including Ali's fate, and Red Coat? The cast and crew have teased we'll be getting some big answers by the end of the season. Most notably, showrunner Marlene King has promised that we "will know if Ali is alive by the end of the summer," and she says there's a big reveal about Ali that will leave fans "emotionally exhausted." Plus, we'll find out who killed Wilden, we'll learn who the biggest liar in Rosewood is, and Lucy Hale says Red Coat will be revealed.

Back to Rosewood. As the official synopsis explains, the Liars head back to Ravenswood because of "an intriguing riddle from 'A'." Based on the promo, we know they run into Carla Grunwald again, so maybe more of the mystery around the sorority house will be put to rest.

"Disappearing act." The synopsis also teases that "During a very special magic show, one Liar pulls a disappearing act, leaving the other three scrambling to make sure she hasn’t succumbed to 'A’s' tricks." In the promo Emily looks to be locked in a box and says she doesn't know where she is, which suggests that she's the Liar in trouble, though Lucy Hale has also hinted that Aria might be the one who goes missing instead, and this sneak peek definitely makes it look like Aria's the one who gets caught up in the magic show.

"World War 'A'." The hashtag catchphrase for the finale is linked to "a shocking discovery" the Liars make in Ravenswood, which "proves that everything they thought they knew about ‘A’ and the ‘A’ team might be wrong. With this discovery, the Liars may just have started ‘World War A.’" We're deeply curious about what this is. Could it be the revelation that Ali is actually alive? Could they discover that most of their suspects are actually part of some other "B" team, as many fans suspect? The possibilities are endless.

Info on Wren. Speaking of suspicious characters, the synopsis says that "Toby uncovers some surprising information about Wren." How much you wanna bet this info is somehow related to Toby's mom's death?

More trouble for the Marins. If you thought Travis's confession last week would mean an end to Ashley Marin's problems, this again: According to the synopsis, "Hanna and her mother’s joyous reunion is cut short when ‘A’s’ sights are set on a new target." Hmmm... Do you think 'A' turns their attention to Hanna herself? Or maybe 'A' targets Travis and his family, which makes Ashley and Hanna feel guilty... Of course, that's assuming Travis goes through with helping Ashley at all, which he might not.

Cece is back. After hearing so much about CeCe this season and seeing her get up to mischief in Episode 11, it's good to know she'll definitely be around in the finale.

Mona is in the episode. Don't worry: The original "A" is in play.

Romance is in the air! While it sounds like this is an action packed episode, there will also be room for romance. We know we'll see Paige and Emily in a scene together in the finale, and there will be a good Haleb scene. Plus, there's a very important Spoby scene,

More hints and clues. The finale will involve a creepy doll, we shouldn't blink, and "I wake up screaming" and "#LegerDeMain" are both clues. There are dialogue sneak peeks. You can also get more hints from the Episode 10 promo, the finale promo, and the sneak peek photos.
