Let's file this one under "nightmares that we'll be having forever."
Actress Famke Janssen, best known for her role as Dr. Jean Gray/Phoenix in the X-Men movies, kind of had a break-in at her home in New York City. Maybe. It's possible. Nobody's entirely certain.
What everyone is relatively sure of is that something insanely creepy went down at Famke's place. When Famke returned to her house over the weekend, she realized that things weren't quite right upon stepping into the bedroom. It appeared that someone had left her a little gift.
However, it wasn't flowers or jewelry that Famke came home to, it was a children's book called The Lonely Doll that someone had left for her in her bedroom.
Of course, this could have all been a simple misunderstanding, if one of her kids had simply misplaced his or her book in Famke's room, but not only does Famke not have any kids, she's certain that she's never seen the book in her life.
The book focuses on the life of a beautiful little doll who is so sad because nobody will play with her, until two bears show up at her home and show her how to have fun.
Nothing was taken from the home and the cops are investigating the case as a break-in — because there's no tactful way to investigate Amazon regret.
