Soleil Moon Frye just made Today much more exciting: the actress revealed on the NBC morning show that she and husband Jason Goldberg are expecting a child.
"I have a very big announcement," she told hosts Natalie Morales and Willie Geist. "We have a newest addition to the family here."
The new baby will be Soleil and Jason's third kid — joining daughters Poet, 8, and Jagger, 5, who Soleil says "are so excited."
Soleil is best known for '80s sitcom Punky Brewster in which she plays the titular character, a young girl who finds a new family in an apartment building after her parents abandon her.
Since the show left the air in 1988, Soleil has taken a variety of TV roles on shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch and The Proud Family.
She also created the parenting company Moonfrye and its self-titled app, with which parents and kids can transform photos into works of art — like the one above, which touts her big news — with themes and stickers.
The 37-year-old is also the new host of the OWN do-it-yourself lifestyle show Home Made Simple, the third season of which starts in October.
Congrats on your many successes, Soleil!
