Lauren Graham’s Book — Someday, Someday, Maybe — Lands Adaptation on CW

Lorelai Gilmore Lauren Graham is back on the WB CW!

The 46-year-old Gilmore Girls actress penned her first novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe, which came out earlier this year; and the coming-of-age story has already been picked up by the CW for a television adaptation.

The book is not based on Lauren’s life but rather follows Franny Banks a 20-something who has moved to New York City to pursue her acting career in the mid-’90s.

The Parenthood star has plans to write another novel, based out of Los Angeles, and with this new television deal, we expect to see many more books following Franny in the future.

Lauren will pen the script and executive-produce the show for Warner Bros. Television, and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is also set to executive produce the drama.

No news yet on when we can expect this adaptation, but we can’t wait to see what the television star has in store for us!
