Who Is “A”? Our Top 3 Suspects From Pretty Little Liars Season 4, Episode 11
Big "A". Red Coat. The mastermind in charge of it all. Whatever we call shim, the Liars' greatest threat is still one of Pretty Little Liars' biggest mysteries, which means every episode is a new piece of the puzzle. Who do we think "A" could be after Season 4, Episode 11: "Bring Down the Hoe"? We've gathered our top suspects.
3. CeCe Drake
Why she might be Big "A": After last night's episode, we'd be remiss not to put CeCe back on our list. We saw her sneaking around spying on Aria and Ezra, we saw her in a room full of clippings and a Red Coat, and we saw her talking suspiciously on the phone with an unknown second party. Add that to all the other reasons to be suspicious of her, and suddenly things are adding up to make Ms. Drake look very sketchy.
Why she might not be Big “A”: It's way too obvious at this point. The more the writing seems to be painting a neon arrow at CeCe, the more we're convinced she's not the head hancho in these schemes. Our guess is that she is on the "A" team — though it's possible she's related to some other group instead — but that she's not in charge. (We do, on the other hand, think she was probably very involved in Wilden's death).
2. Wren Kingston
Why he might be Big "A": Mostly this is holdover suspicion from last week. That said, the parallel between CeCe talking to someone mysterious on the phone while looking at red coat this week and Wren talking to someone mysterious on the phone while sketching a red coat last week makes us suspect that they are linked. Was CeCe the one Wren was calling, and/or vice-versa?
Plus, the continued emphasis on Toby's mom makes it hard to forget that Wren has access to all sorts of Radley info.
Why he might not be Big “A”: We're still not sure why he'd be Big "A" (unless he was involved with Ali before her death. Beach hottie?), and we can't shake the sense that he might be answering to someone else.
1. Ali DiLaurentis
Why she might be Big "A": We've talked about why we suspect Ali basically every week; by this point, we think you know the drill. This week, we want to point out that CeCe seemed to be answering to someone else when she was on the phone — if she is on the "A" team, we're guessing that the person she's talking to is Red Coat. Who has the force of will to keep CeCe, of all people, in line? Ali is one of the few candidates. Plus, let's not forget how blasé Ali seemed in the flashback, when she mentioned she'd had a gun pulled on her. Most teen girls would be freaked; she seemed annoyed and maybe a bit angry. As if we needed another reminder that this girl was always a bit crazy.
Why she might not be Big “A”: She might actually be dead, of course. Or alive and hiding from "A". We shouldn't discount that possibility.
