Emily Maynard’s Ex Calls Out Bachelor Contestants: You’re Not Famous!
Wolf is on the attack!
John Wolfnerjust missed the Hometown Dates phase of Emily Maynard’sThe Bachelorette Season 8, but he didn't exactly leave the show as a household name. Which is fine, cuz the "data destruction specialist" probably wasn't there to get famous. And now that he has some distance from the spotlight, he's throwing shade at any fellow alum who confuses being cast on The Bachelor/ette with being a celebrity.
Wolf brought the claws out in this August 22 tweet: "I'm going to take a shot at former bachelor contestants that have contact info for business inquiries... How about IAMNOTFAMOUS@gmail.com." (Think someone already has that Gmail address?)
One person who enjoyed the call-out is Ashley Spivey of Brad Womack's second round of dumpings. Spives responded, "this just made me giggle." Wolf replied, "well, then my work here is done."
Ashley doesn't have business call-outs in her Twitter profile, but many Bachelor alumni do. They leave the show, head onto Twitter, and use the instant "fame" provided by millions of primetime as a platform to promote themselves and their work.
