Glee Season 5 Music Spoiler: Rachel Sings This Beatles Song — With Whom?

This is us speaking words of wisdom: Get ready to be blown away by the song lists of the first two Glee Season 5 episodes, as they keep getting better!

We’ve already seen the likely track list for the Season 5 premiere, which features a slew of amazing Beatles songs. Now, we have details on yet another Beatles cover. “Let It Be” will reportedly be performed during one of the two Beatles tribute episodes, Season 5, Episode 2.

Just who exactly will be singing the somewhat melancholic hit? According to a Glee crew member’s Instagram photo of the script, vocal duties will fall to Artie, Rachel, Kurt, Santana, and Kitty, with background vocals by New Directions. We’re thinking footage of NYC and McKinley will be spliced together for the number.

This appears to be yet another hint that Artie and Kitty will be getting romantic at the start of Season 5. The unlikely twosome are rumored to also be singing duets of “Drive My Car” and “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away” in Episode 1. Interesting! So to all those Wildebrams out there, we say: Beep beep, beep beep, yeah!

The only thing we’re a little worried about is whether the choice of “Let It Be” means something sad will be going down in Episode 2, since “Let It Be” is a bit of a downer. We know that Finn’s (Cory Monteith) death probably won’t be addressed until Episode 3, so we wonder just what is in store for that second episode.
