True Blood’s Amelia Rose Blaire Promoted To Series Regular — More Willa!
Unlike the charming actor Rob Kazinsky, whose True Blood character, Benlow, was a one-off after meeting a gruesome death this season, Amelia Rose Blaire has been promoted to series regular, Deadline reports. The gorgeous brunette, who plays vampire-sympathizer-turned baby vamp Willa (Governor Burrell’s daughter), must have gotten rave reviews from fans, as her character also appeared in nearly every episode this season.
With Pam flying off to find Eric in the season finale, it will be nice to see their progenies, Tara and Willa, taking care of business in Bon Temps. Faced with fighting the Hep-V-infected vampires, we can’t wait to see which vampires get paired with which uninfected humans. We can only imagine the show will give Willa a love interest. She’d make a handsome duo with Jason Stackhouse, but we don’t think Violet is going to give him up without a (bloody) battle.
Showrunner Brian Buckner says he doesn’t know how long the series will last (although he thinks they could definitely have a couple more strong seasons), but it still must feel good for the young actress to have secured a regular role on the hit HBO show.
What do you think of Willa? Are you glad she’ll be baring her sexy fangs on a regular basis?
