Did Taylor Swift Write “I Knew You Were Trouble” About Harry Styles?

If you romance and then break up with Taylor Swift, you should expect a scorching kiss-off song… and a public shaming on live TV. Just ask Harry Styles.

When T.Swift took to the stage to accept a Moonman for her hit "I Knew You Were Trouble" at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, N.Y., on August 25, 2013, she thanked the guy who inspired the song, adding, "You know who you are."

And perhaps the MTV cameramen knew, too — because the feed switched to a shot of Harry Styles of One Direction fame, who smirked at Taylor's comment.

Taylor and Harry had a blink-and-you-missed it relationship between November 2012 and January 2013.

Harry said recently that he knew the country-pop hitmaker would pen songs about their doomed romance, but he probably didn't expect this calling-out… or the one at the Grammys in February.

That Taylor, she doesn't let go of grudges easily, huh?
