O.M.G. Like. OMG to a whole new level of OMG. The Pretty Little Liars summer finale just ended on what could be the twist to end all twists: Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) is "A"! We repeat: It looks like Ezra is "A".
OK. Deep breaths. We've discussed this theory before, but we seriously doubted the writers would go there. However, after tonight, that looks like exactly what has happened... Unless it's all a mislead, of course.
Let's go over what we learned (about "A", anyway. Ali is a whole other matter!). The Liars were led, by a Red Coat, to what clearly appears to be "A"'s Lair (suggesting "A" and Red Coat are different after all). The lair was full of timelines following all of the Liars (and Ali, who, it is suggested, is alive); there was also a crazy computer setup that shows that "A" had cameras set up spying all over town. Plus, there was a payroll, suggesting that "A" has paid others to help him. And yes, it does seem "A" is a him, since the room also had a collection of nice black suits.
So, where does Ezra come in? Well, at the end of the episode he showed up at the lair wearing black. He looked super pissed off, and took out his anger on the suits. Basically, he acted exactly how you would expect "A" to act on finding out someone had been to his super secret spy hideout.
Of course, it's possible this is all a mislead. Maybe Ezra was just following Aria, and his anger was frustration at having lost track of her? Still, all signs point to #ezrA.
What do you think: Is Ezra "A"? Do you want him to be "A"? Sound off in the comments below!
